There may be personal differences that get in the away of a friendship or comfortable contact between a resident and a house fellow (politics, RA's personality, religion, culture). Yet UWEC's decision should then include any other possibly controversial event such as a political meeting or student organization meeting that would get in the way of "approachableness". The ruling in my mind is ridiculous and clearly a violation of freedom of speech. To say that RA’s are not “approachable” simply becuase they are religious is a poor argument.
